Roller Coaster Capital Depends on Two Roland DG Machines for In-House Graphics
Cedar Point | Sandusky, OH
Cedar Point is an enormous, 365-acre amusement park along the Lake Erie shoreline. With roller coasters, restaurants, live shows, hotels, miniature golf courses and a water park, it's loaded with all types of bright and colorful outdoor graphics. Incredibly, Cedar Point produces them all in house with a couple of Roland DG printer/cutters.
"We use a SOLJET and a CAMMJET to fill the entire park with graphics that burst with color," said Brian Kniceley, Cedar Point environmental graphics specialist. "From restaurant signs to roller coaster decals, we keep up with the massive workload thanks to the ability to print and cut our graphics in house."

With the SOLJET, Kniceley produces durable outdoor graphics as easily as he prints posters. Kniceley has had his CAMMJET for years and uses it for indoor and time-sensitive applications. He notes that it is perfect for posting show times and also for backlit displays.
"The two machines really complement each other," Kniceley said. "Both are dependable performers that turnout good-looking prints every time."
