Created for the purpose of reducing the cost and time it takes to create partial-denture, full-denture or models, TRK’s are composed of a selection of items that are designed to produce millable material discs from gypsum or silicone molds for use with select DGSHAPE DWX milling machines. Using a pourable acrylic/monomer mixture or powder-based gypsum material, these kits can create unlimited milling discs from reusable molds.
The Removable Denture Kit (CA-DK1) and Model Kit (CA-MK1) works with the DWX-52D, DWX-52DC, and DWX-52DCi dental mills. Currently, kits are not available for DWX-50, DWX-4, DWX-4W, DWX-42W or DWX-51D users. These kits are also not compatible with other competitive milling devices.
Each kit comes with six silicone molds to pour and mix material into, a spatula to level out the material after it is mixed and poured, a fixture that fits a disc-type adapter to hold the polymerized material in place for the milling process, and a 2.0mm carbide flat-end bur that reduces the time for the roughing process during milling. The removable denture kit will also include three silicone spacers to separate the molds during polymerization and fifty tips which are placed inside the silicone mold that help keep the polymerized acrylic material in place during the milling process.
The Removable Denture Kit (CA-DK1) uses a single silicone mold to hold semi-flexible, self-cured, or cold-cured pourable acrylic material for the development of millable discs to create full and partial denture bases. The molds for the Removable Denture Kit come in a full-arch size and can be used for full and partial denture development.
The Model Kit (CA-MK1) offers two kinds of molds that can hold gypsum materials for the development of millable material to create stone (hardened gypsum) models. The molds for the model kit come in full-arch and quadrant shapes to match full-arch or quadrant digital impressions.
Both the Removable Denture Kit (CA-DK1) and Model Kit (CA-MK1) require time for the materials to harden. In the case of the CA-MK1 Kit, the process is very simple and users merely need to measure, mix and pour the gypsum and water mixture into the mold, before leaving it to settle and harden.
When using the CA-DK1 Kit, users need to measure and mix the acrylic and monomer, place tips in the silicone mold before pouring the mixture into the mold. Then, place the silicone mold into a pressure pot for polymerization. Once the material is fully polymerized, it can be placed into the fixture that fits into the disc-type adapter. The fixture should be inserted into the disc-type adapter prior to the insertion of the material. Once the material is inserted and fastened into the fixture while the fixture is inserted and fastened into the adapter, it can be inserted into the milling device.

Pourable acrylic from Nobilium (Nobiltone) can be used for full-denture cases. Nobiltone has directions for use (DFU) available for download in the support section of your milling device.
Currently Nobiltone materials can be purchased through your reseller. Other self-curing, cold-curing, or semi-flexible materials can be purchased through your reseller or other acrylic material manufacturers.
Yes. Users will need a measuring scale, measuring cup (ml), mixing bowl, mixing knife, and a vibrating pad/oscillator. Removable Kit users will also need a pressure pot and a compressed air source. Model kit users will also need a plaster/gypsum mixing device. A measuring scale will ensure the proper ratio of material and liquid or water is used. The vibrating pad/oscillator helps limit the chance of porosity. The pressure pot uses compressed air to polymerize cold-cured, self-cured, or semi-flexible acrylics. Though some acrylics can be polymerized in a pot without compressed air, it is recommended that the user follow the instructions for use (IFU) for their material of choice.
MillBox by CIMsystem is the only current compatible CAM software available for use with the time reduction kits. If you currently use CAM software from another manufacturer, please reach out to your reseller for details on incorporating a CAM workflow for your kit.

Most accessories from the kit will be able to be purchased separately. This includes the fixture, 2.0mm flat end bur, and tips for the mold. All molds are not available for individual purchase.
