Okay, big day today at Roland DGA; the launch of R-Blog, the Roland DGA blog. We had a lot of internal discussion regarding how to do this right and I can promise you that as a result you won't be reading about the oatmeal I had for breakfast. Who really cares, right? And besides, I don't eat oatmeal.
What can you expect to find on R-Blog are previews of new products from Roland DG, commentary on interesting developments in the industries we serve, and our view on general topics of interest to you, our readers. Notice that I said "our" views and not "my" views. Roland DGA is much more than just me, and this blog will give you an opportunity to hear from some really interesting people at our company (and nothing about what they had for breakfast, I promise).
Today I'm watching the final touches being put on the last phase of the Roland DG Creative Center, located in the lobby of our headquarters building here in Irvine, California. You too can watch via our live webcam. About 18 months ago we made the decision to take all the Roland DG printers and engravers out of the lobby in order to launch the Creative Center. Instead of equipment, we put real work created on our equipment on display. It turned out to be a great idea (if I may say so myself) and the work on display, along with the design and installation is truly inspiring.
The unofficial charter for R-Blog is enlighten and entertain. I hope you come back often and let us know how we're doing. Thanks for checking in.
